Welcome to
STUDIO ONE
Frome is a magical town, and Studio One, is one of its most
historic and special locations. Studio One is right on the
River Frome in the centre of town, offers tailor made studio
hire, tuition and residential packages to suit a whole range
of purposes, from half day studio rental with or without
equipment, bespoke photography tuition and a
comfortable and peaceful en suite guest room with
breakfast if you wish to stay for longer than a day.
The studio itself is in the quirky and comforting home of
photographer James Bartholomew and his wife and
business partner Sara, their two dogs and a cat. It’s an
historic and fascinating place, full of curiosities, props,
magic and mystery, and includes a stunning stone walled
two level garden with beehives. You'd be welcome to use
the garden for outdoor shooting or just a lovely relax.
Our full prices for studio rental, tuition fees, equipment hire
are given below but please do contact us so we can help
put together a package that suits your budget.

Comfortable and peaceful en suite guest room with breakfast if you wish to stay for longer
than a day and a Stone walled two level garden. You'd be welcome to use the

professional photographer James Bartholomew. James who has over 20 years experience teaching in
London now offers this exclusive one to one course for the beginner or more experienced photographer.
